Love by Lily is a Dutch lifestyle brand for mothers and children, founded in 2020 by Jessica, a mother of two and the brand’s Creative Director. While searching for baby products that were sustainable, stylish, and genuinely practical, Jessica identified a clear gap in the market. She designed a soft, spacious play mat that was safe and comfortable for children, while blending effortlessly into modern interiors.
What began as a personal solution quickly grew into an international lifestyle brand for families. Today, Love by Lily offers a thoughtfully curated collection that includes play mats, rugs, mom bags, and wallpapers. Each product reflects the brand’s commitment to quality, safety, and timeless design, earning the trust of parents, interior design lovers, and retailers worldwide.
Love by Lily’s previous website did not fully reflect the brand’s premium identity or design standards. The visual presentation felt disconnected from the high-quality product photography, and the overall user experience lacked structure. Navigating the store and discovering products was not as intuitive as it needed to be.
The brand required a redesign that aligned with its refined, Scandinavian-inspired aesthetic, improved navigation, and supported a smoother, more conversion-focused shopping experience.

The Challenge
The core challenge was creating a design-led e-commerce experience that appealed to both parents and design-conscious customers. From a technical perspective, scalability and mobile responsiveness were essential. With an expanding international audience, the site had to perform consistently across devices while remaining easy to manage behind the scenes. Enhanced product filtering and a clearer backend structure were also required to support efficient product organization and long-term growth.

We redesigned Love by Lily’s Shopify store with a strong focus on intuitive user experience, visual consistency, and performance. The layout was restructured to highlight high-quality imagery without overwhelming the interface. Clean typography, soft color palettes, and generous spacing reinforced the brand’s calm, family-focused identity.
On the technical side, Shopify Search & Discovery was implemented to improve browsing through advanced filtering and predictive search. The backend was optimized to manage multiple product categories efficiently, while performance improvements ensured fast load times and a seamless mobile experience. Judge.me reviews were integrated to strengthen customer trust, an important factor for a family-oriented brand.
