Overview
The Perfect Biquini is a luxury swimwear brand founded by Ester Morschel and Felix Brosi, representing a fusion of Brazilian passion and European minimalism. Every piece is handmade with care in a small artisanal workshop in Brazil, using premium, sustainable fabrics. The brand is built on a story of craftsmanship, ethical production, and timeless design, aiming to spread joy and sensuality through products that respect both the body and the planet.

The brand's original online store failed to reflect its high-quality, artisanal identity. The website had a generic, cluttered design that diluted the premium customer experience. The stunning product photography was undermined by a poor layout and slow performance, creating a disconnect between the tangible quality of the biquinis and their digital presentation. This inconsistency risked undermining trust and conversion for a discerning, high-value audience.

The Challenge
The core challenge was both technical and strategic: to architect a digital storefront that felt as intentional and valuable as the physical product itself. This demanded a complete visual and structural overhaul with specific objectives. We needed to create visual-experience harmony, where world-class product imagery could tell the brand’s story without interference from intrusive design elements. Simultaneously, it required designing an intuitive, luxury navigation system that made discovering collections by style, fit, or fabric completely effortless. Performance was also a non-negotiable premium feature, meaning the site had to load with the speed expected of a luxury brand, particularly on mobile, without compromising its visual richness. Finally, the solution had to overcome the natural hesitation of online swimwear purchases by building digital trust through strategically integrated social proof and the founders’ authentic narrative.


The Solution
Our solution was to develop a “digital atelier” concept, building a custom Shopify theme that functioned as a clean, immersive gallery for the product. We implemented a minimalist, narrative-driven design, featuring a fluid, single-column scroll experience on key pages that eliminated all visual noise and allowed the photography to take centre stage. The navigation was completely rebuilt to be intuitively minimal, guiding customers seamlessly from discovery to checkout. From a development standpoint, we built a bespoke, high-performance theme from the ground up, coded for pixel-perfect responsiveness and rigorously optimized for Core Web Vitals through advanced image handling and clean code practices. Throughout the site, the founders’ “two worlds, one vision” philosophy was woven into the experience through subtle design cues and thoughtful micro-copy, reinforcing the brand ethos without disrupting the shopping flow.

The Results
The new site successfully mirrors the brand’s quality, improving engagement and trust. The minimalist design reduced bounce rates and increased session times. Streamlined navigation and fast pages improved the path to purchase, with early data showing positive conversion trends. Strategically placed reviews and storytelling enhanced credibility. The brand now operates on a scalable, high-performance Shopify foundation, ready for future growth and new collections.
